Since neither of them wanted the night to end, they found themselves sitting on a bench by the famous Swann Memorial Fountain for another two hours simply talking and getting to know each other. A surprise proposal takes a little bit of creativity and a lot of planning, especially when the weather forecast calls for rain. To get them dressed and out the door, Mihir faked a work event at the Free Library of Philadelphia, which was believable since he works for the City.
With an umbrella in one hand and an engagement ring in the other, Mihir was determined to keep their Logan Square engagement photos a secret. While friends and family knew the engagement was coming soon, he kept the exact timing a surprise.
